Modular Construction

CLT modules are used to produce any type of building; apartments, family and executive homes, office blocks, schools, colleges and hotel’s. Modular Construction uses high tech manufacturing processes to build off-site. Modules are produced in factories where the outside elements will not delay the build process. Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) has become a preferred material for modules, not only because it is a sustainable material with great thermal properties but also the build process with CLT delivers very minimal wastage due to the precision engineering. Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glulam is used for Modular construction due to their strength, stability, connectivity and buildability.

Steve Coleman Timber Erectors have been involved in the on site construction of CLT Modules for the last 5 years, CLT Modules are delivered to site and our team of qualified and experienced operatives, unload and install the modules in a speedy and efficient manner.

We are proud to have been involved with the Modular Installation of the first two Moxy Hotels in the UK and more recently we have been working alongside NU Living installing CLT Modules at Beechwood in Basildon.
